When

appears flashing on the display, the
meter will no longer give results and
you must replace the batteries before
you can perform another test.

The meter’s current time and date
settings are saved for a minimum of
30 minutes after the batteries have
been removed. After that you may
need to reset the time and date.
Dead batteries and/or battery
removal will not erase or change test
results, default settings, or codes
stored in the meter.

Replacing the Batteries

Plus

Meter comes with batteries already
installed. When the batteries need to
be replaced, use two AAA, 1.5-volt
alkaline batteries.

The batteries should last about 18
months when testing up to two (2)
times a day. When the battery symbol
appears on the meter display, the
batteries are getting low.

You will still be able to test with low
batteries, but you should replace
them as soon as possible.
