4.1. Toner Kit Replacement

To replace the toner container, proceed as follows.
1. Open the printer's top cover all the way.
☛ Please do not touch the developer unit release
lever inside the printer.
2. Press the toner container release lever ( Green ) to
release the old toner container from the printer.
Remove the old toner container as gently as possible.
☛ Keep the toner container as level as possible while
removing.
3. Put the old toner container in the plastic bag sup-
plied with the toner kit. Dispose of the toner con-
tainer.

The old toner container may be incinerated with-
out the risk of generating harmful gas.
4. Take the new toner container from its bag.
With the label side down, thoroughly shake the toner
container (in the direction of the arrow) ten times or
more to loosen and mix the toner inside.
5. The bottom of the toner container is sealed with a
plastic strip. Carefully pull the sealing strip off the
toner container, making sure not to leak any toner.
Dispose of the sealing strip.
