• If the end of programmed time in DVD and a start of programmed time in VCR are the same, the indicator
of the front panel may not be switched from DVD to VCR automatically. However, the Timer Recording for VCR
is in progress normally. In such case, press OUTPUT SELECT on the front panel or VCR
on the remote
control to activate the display.This is not a malfunction.

number is highlighted in gray
of the asterisked line in the
timer programming list.
• Once the timer programming
list with error indication is dis-
played, the program line(s)
with error will be cleared only
after the programs are can-
celed and reset to the timer
standby mode.
• The current recording pro-
gram will be highlighted in red.
Error number will appear
- An OTR is completed, and there is no other timer recordings in standby.
- The timer standby mode is cancelled by pressing T-SET.
- POWER is pressed during timer standby, and the component that is not
in timer standby mode is turned on.
- The unit entered into the timer standby mode.
- A Timer Recording or an OTR has started.
- When this indicator is on, you cannot use SET UP.
- All timer recordings are completed.

- All VCR Timer Recordings are completed, and there is no other timer
recordings in standby.
- A VCR Timer Recording is cancelled by pressing STOP/EJECT C/A on
the unit.
- The VCR timer standby mode is cancelled by pressing T-SET.
- POWER is pressed during VCR timer standby, and the unit switched to
the DVD mode.
- The VCR entered into the timer standby mode.
- The VCR entered into the timer standby mode when no tape or a tape
without an erase protection tap is in the unit.
- The tape runs out during Timer Recording.
- All DVD Timer Recordings are completed, and there is no other timer
recordings in standby.
- The DVD timer standby mode is cancelled by pressing T-SET.only momentarily.
- POWER is pressed during DVD timer standby, and the unit switched to the
VCR mode.
- The DVD entered into the timer standby mode.
- The DVD entered into the timer standby mode when no disc or an
unrecordable disc is in the unit.
- The disc runs out of the space during Timer Recording.
