OTHER FUNCTIONS
■ AM/FM narrow mode
The IC-208H has AM mode reception and FM narrow mode is
available. Typically, AM mode is used for the air band
(118–135.995 MHz).
q Select the desired frequency band in VFO mode, or the de-
sired memory channel.
w Push [BAND] for 1 sec. to select AM/FM narrow mode as
desired.
• “NAR” (FM narrow), “AM” and “NAR AM” appears in sequence.
• No indication stands for FM mode.
z Push [BAND] or [MR/CALL] to select the desired
frequency band or memory channel.
x Push [BAND] for 1 sec. to select AM/FM narrow
mode as desired.
• “NAR”, “AM” and “NAR AM” appears in sequence.
• No indication stands for FM mode.
