The Magnum 6KP6-RJSSC

is also a Combo module

equipped with 4 dual speed

copper ports and 2 Single-

mode SC-type connectors. It

provides an advantage

through combining copper

and Fiber functions in one module of the 6K32 Switch supporting four Copper and two

single-mode fiber network segments.

The 6KP6-RJSSC, when installed in a Magnum 6K32 Switch operates on

copper at the 100m distance. The Fiber is single-mode and cable lengths can be as much

as 25+ Km (see Power Budget, Section 4.5)

Each port has an Activity (ACT) LED indicating packets being received, a

Link (LK) LED that indicates proper connectivity with the remote device when lit, and a

FDX/HDX LED to indicate full-duplex mode when lit (or half-duplex when off). The

10/100 LED indicates 100Mbps speed when lit and 10Mbps speed when off. To

distinguish the single-mode 6 K6-RJSSC from the multi-mode 6K6-RJMSC, the label

“Sgl. M.” is at the top of the faceplate of the 6K6-RJSSC.

The Magnum 6KP6-RJSSC is also a Combo module equipped with 4 dual speed copper

ports and 2 Single-mode (Long Reach) SC-type connectors. It provides a combination of

copper and Fiber functions in one module to the 6K32 Switches, supporting four Copper

and two single-mode (Long-Reach) fiber network segments.

The 6KP6-RJSSC, when installed in a Magnum 6K32 Switch has copper
