3rd-party rack

The following requirements must be met:

Installation dimensions (see the dimensions shown in

figure 2 on page 43

).

The design of the rack support uprights must allow the rails to be screwed
on at the front.

Rails that are screwed on at the front.

The length of the rails can be adjusted to allow different rack depths.

No cable management support (delivered with the mounting kit).

Climatic conditions.

For ventilation of the installed server system, there must be an unrestricted
air inlet on the front of the rack and an air outlet in the backplane of the rack.

In principle, the ventilation concept provides for the necessary cooling via
the horizontal self-ventilation of the installed devices (air stream from front
to back).

Power supply:

For installation in 3rd party racks, you must ensure that the appropriate
socket strips are present.
