Harness Exit Configurations
Along with the motor mount configuration, the location where the wiring harness exits
from the motor enclosure can be configured. On in-line motor modules, the wire
harnesses can be configured to exit from the left or right side of the motor enclosure. For
left- and right-side motor modules, the wire harness exits from the motor side of the
module. The harness exit configurations are normally defined automatically as the
module system is configured, to optimize the system wiring.
In addition to left and right exit configurations, the actual grommet location is also
defined automatically. The harness exit locations and grommets can easily be
reconfigured in the field if needed.
