Enable Handy View: The system provides “Handy View” function to enable remote
users to use a PDA or a mobile phone for remote monitor. Select the item, Enable
Handy View, to enable remote users to connect the DVR server by PDA or mobile
phone. For more information, please check 5.3 Handy View.
Dynamic DNS: If your system uses a dynamic IP address, please go to
http://ddns.avers.com.tw
and register a dynamic domain name and password first.
Select this item and enter the proper domain name and password to enable dynamic
DNS. If you enable this function without entering the domain name and the password,
the system will show an error message. For more information, please refer to
Appendix A Registering Domain Names. DDNS provided by other DDNS provided
are acceptable.
After you finish the network configuration, click
to keep the settings. You
will return to the Monitor Screen. Click
to enable inbound connections from the
client.
Voice Phone:
The system provides a 2-way audio function to enable ONE WebCam
user to have a free talk with ONE server user each time by using microphone via
Intranet or Internet. Thus, a remote user and the DVR user can talk to each other
directly by microphone via network.
Select “Talk to Web-client” to enable the administrator to talk to the client PC user,
thus they can communicate via network. The default port is 9999.
If the server user does not want to talk to the Web client user, don’t select “Talk to
Web-client”. The server user can still hear the voice from the web client user, but
he/she cannot answer the voice phone.
Before using the 2-way audio, please make sure both the
speakers and microphones of your client PC and servers are
working properly.
Click
to keep the setting or
to cancel the setting.
