4.8 PCIe mini Wireless Module Installation
The UPC-12A/GM45 is come with a PCIe mini Wireless card to provide wireless
connectivity. To install the wireless module, follow the steps below.
Step 1:
Remove the rear cover. The rear cover is secured to the system with 11
retention screws. To remove the rear cover, remove the retention screws.

Step 2:
Disconnect the system cables and lift the rear cover off the UPC-12A/GM45.
The system cables that need to be disconnected include:
SATA cable
SATA power cable
Battery connector (PCN1) cable
Two system fan cables (FAN2 and FAN3)
Two speaker cables
Step 3:
Locate the PCIe mini socket.
Step 4:
Install the PCIe mini wireless card into the PCIe mini socket.
Step 5:
Connect the three antenna cables from the system to the wireless card.
