o Do not use the built-in fl ash unless it is fully raised.
o The bottom of images may be dark if light from the built-in fl ash is obstructed
by a lens hood, or by a subject that is too close.
o If the bottom of images is dark when you use super telephoto or large-diameter
lenses, consider using an external Speedlite (sold separately, = 179).

Flash output is automatically adjusted to provide suitable fl ash exposure for
your specifi ed aperture value.
In low light, the main subject is exposed with autofl ash metering and the
background with a slow shutter speed, to provide standard exposure for
both the subject and background. Using a tripod is recommended.
