Chapter 13 Signal Source
MSO1000Z/DS1000Z combines signal generator and oscilloscope in one instrument
by providing a built-in dual-channel, 25MHz signal generator, thus providing
convenience for engineers who need to use the signal generator and oscilloscope at
the same time. This chapter introduces how to use the built-in signal generator. As
the functions and setting methods of source 1 and source 2 are the same, this
chapter takes Source 1 for illustration.
Press Source to enter the signal generator control menu.
Press Output to enable or disable the signal output. When it is enabled, the
[Source1] connector at the rear panel outputs a signal according to the current
setting.
Press Src1Conf to set the signal type and the signal parameters.
Press StatusDisp to view the parameter settings of SOURCE1 and SOURCE2,
such as the frequency, amplitude, offset, phase, modulation type and
modulation frequency, etc.
Press RecoveryCalls to set the output signal type and parameters to be
recalled when the oscilloscope is powered on again after power-off. You can
select "Last" or "Default".
Pressing Factory can restore the default settings of the signal source
separately.
Note:
The function of Source Output is the same with that of Source
Src1Conf Output.
