38 How to Set Up the Print Server
For Macintosh
Install EpsonNet MacAssist on your Macintosh to configure the
print server.
System requirements
The following table lists the system requirements of EpsonNet
MacAssist.
Installing EpsonNet MacAssist
Follow the steps below to install EpsonNet MacAssist.
1. Insert the Software CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive.
2. Mac OS 8.x to 9.x:
Double-click the EPSON icon in the EPSON folder.
Mac OS X:
Double-click the Mac OS X folder in the EPSON folder, and
then double-click the EPSON icon.
Note:
When the authentication dialog box to assign administrator rights
appears, enter the user name and password, and then click OK.
3. The EPSON Installation Program starts automatically. Select
Install EpsonNet MacAssist, and then click .
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.
5. Restart your computer.
