Removing and Installing Ink Cartridges
Be sure you have a new ink cartridge before you begin. Once you start replacing a
cartridge, you must complete all the steps in one session.
1. If an ink cartridge is empty:
Look at the message the RX620 screen to find out which cartridge is empty,
then press the
OK button.
If an ink cartridge is low:
Look at the icon in the upper right corner of the RX620 screen to see which
cartridge is low or check the ink levels as described on page 53. Then press the
Setup button to enter setup mode. Use the u and d buttons to select Ink
Cartridge , then press OK . At the confirmation screen, press OK again.
2. Lift open the scanner section to access the printer area.
3. Open the ink cartridge holder.
Caution:
Never attempt to open the cartridge holder’s cover while the print head is moving.
Wait until the cartridges have moved to the replacement position.
