Battery charging
Warning
BATTERY CHARGING:
The Cub is a rechargeable device and should only be recharged in a
Non Hazardous environment.
Recharging Battery
Ensure the Cub is charged for at least 4 hours before using it for the first time. The Cub should be charged
in a non-hazardous environment only.
To charge your Cub, first connect the CubDoc Cub Docking Station which is connected to mains power. The
Charge LED will indicate that power is on with a green light.
The Cub will then begin to charge. While the Cub is charging, the screen will be illuminated with a yellow
light. When the Cub is fully charged, the screen will be illuminated with a green light.
Discharged
While the Cub is connected to a docking station,
the screen will display the level of charge.
Fully Charged
Note:
Ion Science Ltd recommends keeping your Cub on charge at all times when not in use, as batteries
can lose power over time.
Charging Pins
Two sprung loaded charging pins are located on the top of the docking station.
Caution: Do not short circuit these two connections together else the internal fuse will blow and the
Docking station will need to be returned to the manufacturer for replacement.
