Drive Selection and Motor Current Rating
Ensure the current rating of the replacement P1000 drive is sufficient for the motor installed in the application.
The cross-reference provided in
provides recommendations based on National Electric Code Full-Load Currents
for Three -Phase Squirrel Cage and Wound Rotor Motors.
Certain P1000 replacement drives have output current ratings that differ from P7 models. Verify output current capacity
of the selected drive is appropriate for each specific application.
