The SD card is used to read in files, if, under consultation with the SMA Serviceline, a firmware update
is necessary.
SMA Solar Technology AG will send you a file with the firmware update by email or on an SD card
or will make the file available in the download area at www.SMA.de/en.

Properties of the SD Card
Use an SD card that is FAT16 or FAT32 formatted and has a maximum storage capacity
of 2 GB.
Use the SD card exclusively for this inverter. Do not save any multimedia files or other
unsuitable files on the SD card.
