Operating modes
Selecting an operating mode makes a specific group of functions
available.

You can switch to another operating mode at any time by press-
ing key for the desired mode.
Error messages
If an error occurs while you are operating the TNC, a message will
appear in plain language. You will find an overview of error mes-
sage in Chapter 9.
To clear an error message:

Blinking error messages

A blinking error messages means that the operational
reliability of the TNC has been impaired.
If the TNC shows a blinking error message:

⇒ Switch off the TNC and the machine tool.
