Advanced telephoning
On some networks you can only make an external call if you first wait for
the dial tone. You can insert a pause to have the cordless phone waiting
for the dial tone.
Tip
When you enter a phone number before dialling, you can also press
for one second to insert a pause.
Inserting a pause
To insert a pause in a phone number
Route:
Special functions » Pause
1.
Enter the phone number.
2.
Press
and then
to enter the Special
functions menu.
3.
Select Pause and press
.
A ‘p’ is displayed and the cordless phone waits at that
position in the number.
