Press the console panel (+) or (-) button to
set the CB to either LOCAL (LO) or
DISTANT (DX) mode.
Distant = Receiver sensitivity increased.
Use for weaker signals. Static and noise
levels increased.
Local = Receiver sensitivity decreased.
Use for stronger signals or in high density
areas. Static and noise levels decreased.
CB Frequencies
There are 40 citizen band (CB) channels
designated for use by the Federal
Communications Commission (FCC).
NOTE: The FCC has designated Channel
9 as an EMERGENCY channel.
