1. Accessories
1-3 Battery Level Indicator
• Battery charge level may change in
relation to ambient air temperature or
the amount of use.
• Even if the charge indicator appears
to show the need for charging or
replacing batteries, the transceiver
may still be used for reception or low
output transmission.
• Modify the battery type setting in the
Setting mode when the battery pack
type is changed.
1-4 Loading Batteries
1. L o a d t h r e e ( 3 ) c o m m e r c i a l l y
available AA alkaline batteries in the
battery case (EDH-31).
Set the batteries in the battery case in
the +/- orientation marked at the
bottom of the case.
2. Attach the battery case in the same
method of the battery pack (page3).
Caution
• Manganese batteries are not recommended as they may decrease the
transmission output level.
• Be sure to observe proper orientation of the batteries polarity (+-).
• Switch off the battery transceiver's charge function when dry cell batteries are
used.
Charge Level
When the charge level becomes low,
an empty battery mark appears.
Charge (or replace) the battery.
