4. Parameter Setting Mode
In setting mode, you can set various functions of the transceiver.
4-1 Mode Setting Items
The Setting ITEM No. increases when the FUNC key is pressed, and it decreases
when the MONI key is pressed.
(Note) 03 Tuning steps can be set only in the VFO mode.
15 Memory skip can be set only in the Memory mode.
Switches battery charging On and Off.
Sets the squelch level.
Sets the tuning step.
Sets the shift direction.
Sets the shift offset value.
Switches the beeper On and Off.
Selects the call tone sound.
Switches On/Off and sets the time of the Timeout
Timer (TOT).
Switches On/Off and sets the time of the Auto
Power Off (APO) feature.
Switches the battery save function On and Off.
Switches the bell function On and Off.
Switches the stand-by-beep On and Off.
Switches the Busy Channel Lockout function
(BCLO) On and Off.
Switches the scanning mode between timed/ busy
channel.
Sets the scan skip function of memory channels.
Sets the battery type.
Switches On/Off and sets the sound of the theft
alarm function.
Switches the mosquito repellent signal On and Off.
Switches external terminal controlling On and Off.
