4 – Video/Audio Recording
Dividing a file (DIVIDE)
A recorded file can be divided into two at a specified position.
NOTE
The SD card must have at least as much open space as the file being divided.
If there is not enough open space, an “Out of Card Space” pop-up message
appears. If this occurs, change the media or delete unnecessary files to
increase the amount of open space.
1. Press the MENU button to open the MENU screen.
2. Use the Pointing Stick to select BROWSE and press the center of the
Pointing Stick to open the BROWSE screen.
3. Press 5 and b to select the file you want to divide.
4. Press 5 and b to select DIVIDE.
5. Press the center of the Pointing Stick to enter divide mode. The icon
appears on the Home Screen, and the selected file plays back.
Press the F1( ) button (DIVIDE) at the position where you want to
divide the file, or press the F3/HOME button (CANCEL). The file will play
back repeatedly until you press one of these buttons.
