Dynamic Tally Via serial port (RS232)

Choose “Serial Port” in the drop-down list to enable Tally.
Check the box, the tally is implemented with dynamic UMD of both single UMD and dual
UMD. The current color of Tally is changed based on the latest operation of dynamic
UMD.

Tally 1=Red.


Tally 2=Yellow.

Adjusting the transparency of the Audio and UMD Settings

Choose the target channel (last selected by default) or all channels from the drop -down
list. In the area show above, users can modify the transparency of audio meters or UMD
of each channel. Choose the channel which needs to be modifed from the drop-down list,
put the mouse on the cursor and drag it to the assigned position; or you can fill in a
specific parameter ranging from 0 to 255. “0” stands for full transparency and “255”
stands for fully opaque.


Attach to edge
Check “Attach to Edge” when the audio meters and the UMD are located at the bottom
and side edges of the image. Attach to Edge places the audio meters and the UMD to
the edge leaving that channel's full image be shown. If "Attach to Edge" is not selected,
then UMD and audio meters are overlaid (super-imposed) on image based on the
transparency set above.


Display settings

Choose the target channel or all channels from the drop-down list.

Check the box “AFD Information” and AFD (Automatic Format Detection) information will
be overlaid on the top of the channel, otherwise, not. AFD information is shown in the
form of a picture, according to the AFD code embedded in the input signal, else an "X."
