AC Power Connections
Ponderosa series routing switchers offer redundant power supplies but must be specified prior to
order. The power supplies are universal AC inputs. Voltage selection is not necessary because
the power supply senses the correct AC input automatically.
It is advised to connect each power supply to separate AC circuits.
The rear of the frame has two AC connectors labeled Primary and Redundant regardless of if
redundant power supplies are installed. For non-redundant power systems only the AC connector
“primary” is connected.
There are 4 “health monitoring” LEDs on each power supply. The LEDs indicate fan and power
status.
