Step 5) Using the COPY command, download the sample data base:
COPY DBSAMPLE.TXT COMx:
Again, where x is the number of the communications port.
Once the start character is received, the existing database in the Inspector unit is erased and
the new database is placed in the database buffer.
After the end character is received, 4 messages are displayed in succession on the LCD:
1. Database Parsing
2. Database Sorting
3. Database Loading
4. Completed
A few seconds after the “Database Loading Completed” message has displayed, the Main
Menu will display.
Or you may encounter one of the following error messages:
Memory Overflow
(If the database exceeds the buffer limit)
Format Error
(If the data format is incorrect)
