Step 1)
Plug the cable (002-2979) into the serial
communications port
of an IBM compatible
PC/AT/386/486 computer.
Step 2) Plug the connector of the cable into the
Laser Inspector unit.
Step 3) Turn on the Laser Inspector by pressing the ON
switch or pressing the scanner trigger.
Step 4) Using the MODE command of MS-DOS, enter
the following:
MODE COMx:9600,n,8,1
Where x is the number of the communications port to be used.
