8.0 Data Analysis Screens
After doing a scan, the Data Analysis Screens can be accessed from the Pass/Fail Analysis
screen by pressing Enter. (The sequence of displays you see may vary slightly from these
examples depending on the symbology and Inspector model.)
The following displays are brought up by pressing Select. The first screen to display is the
Decoded Symbol Data from the Pass/Fail Screen:

(If more than 16 characters are present, those characters will wrap to the next row of the
display.)
Note: Code 128 is an exception. See Appendix A for details.
Press Select to bring up the next screen (if applicable):
Modck: 5 PASS
Expect: 5
This display indicates (when applicable) the Mod check character decoded and the Mod
check character that should have been decoded (expected) in the symbol. PASS or FAIL is
also indicated.
