3). Address Aging
The switch will learn Mac addresses to an ARL table automatically. And follow the table
to do packet forwarding operation. If Mac addresses are not received for some time,
the Mac addresses will be removed from the table. This operation is called aging.
The aging operation could be disable here. And all the learned Mac addresses will not be
removed from the ARL table.
The time interval for aging operation could be modified here. It is 300 seconds by
default.
