needs to know what sort of video sources are connected to it. Click the gear icon (Figure 13)
next to the Close button in the upper-right corner of the 3P
LAY
Desktop. This opens the I/O
Configuration panel (Figure 14).

Use the Video
drop-down menu to identify your sources by connection type, choosing between Composite,
Y/C, Component or SDI (Composite and Y/C options are shown in the menu for Standard Definition sessions
only).
Click the LIVE button on the 3P-10 control surface (note that 3P
LAY
will automatically begin a/v
recording). If you have connected one or more video sources to 3P
LAY
and at least one monitor
connected on output, you should now see one of the source video streams on your external output
monitor.
