Signal is not present on the Rx IF
connector.
Check the AG parameter to ensure that a signal is present
on the Rx IF connector. A value of 255 indicates no
signal; a value of 80 to 135 indicates a good signal level.
IPSat GW1000
experiences
occasional decoder
synchronization loss,
but no loss of carrier
tracking or bit time
lock.
Rain fades or other loss of signal
power will cause decoder faults
before carrier tracking or bit timing
faults.
Make sure that the Eb/N0 level is sufficient.
The IPSat GW1000 requires no periodic or preventive maintenance and is designed to deliver years of maintenance-
free service. The only task you need to perform is keeping the air intake grill free of debris, blockage, or excessive
dust to ensure that the IPSat GW1000 receives adequate airflow.
If you do clean the IPSat GW1000, first remove power from the unit. Then clean the cabinet, panel, and controls
with a soft cloth lightly moistened with water.
Do not use any type of abrasive pads, scouring powders, liquid cleaners, aerosol cleaners, or solvents such as
alcohol or benzene.
