03 Using the menu
The sound profiles of your Thuraya XT DUAL
will let you to adjust the appropriate sound
levels according to your current environment.
If you are for example in a meeting you might
want to reduce the sound for incoming calls
and messages while outdoors you might
want to increase the sound.

The menu Settings will allow you to configure
the overall phone settings of your Thuraya XT
DUAL.

10.1. Profiles
Scroll to your preferred profile and press OK to
activate it. If you want to change the configuration
of a profile, press the left softkey Edit and
choose Ringtone, Ringing type, Ringing
volume, sound for Incoming message,
Message volume, sound for Alarm clock, sound
for Calendar alarm, sound for Task alarm,
sound for Countdown, Alarm volume, Keypad
tone and Keypad volume.

To quickly switch between Silent mode and
Normal mode (e.g. if you are going to a meeting)
you can also long-press the star key on your
Thuraya XT DUAL.
