02 Getting started
NOTE

Emergency calls may not be possible on all cellular telephone
networks or when certain network service is in use.
Emergency numbers
normally are: 112, 118, 119, 911, 999
Check with your network service provider for local emergency
numbers in your area.
Use the Setup wizard to set the basic details of the phone when
you initially switch on your Thuraya XT DUAL phone.
If you decide to skip the Setup wizard you can access it later in
the Settings menu.
For more details, refer to Setup wizard menu in Settings.

Setup Wizard
The keypad may be locked in order that numbers cannot be
dialed accidentally.
Calls can be received while the phone is locked.
Lock/Unlock in Idle Screen
To lock the keypad

Long press the hash (#) key .
To unlock the keypad
‡
Press the right soft key .
‡
Press the hash (#) key within 3 seconds.
‡
If the hash (#) key is not pressed within
3 seconds, the keypad will remain locked.
