Step 1: Ensure that your 1769 system
power supply(1) has sufficient current
output to support your system configuration.

The modules maximum current draw is shown below
5V dc 24V dc
150 mA 45 mA
NOTE The module cannot be located more than 8 modules away from
the system power supply.
(1) The system power supply could be a 1769-PA2, -PB2, -PA4, -PB4, or the internal
supply of the MicroLogix 1500 packaged controller.
