Making Adjustments to the Ailerons
Warning: Keep everything clear of the propeller before
adjusting the ailerons in the event that you accidentally
turn on the motor.
You may find some adjustment is needed to properly
trim the ailerons. The ailerons are properly trimmed when
each aileron is level with the stationary wing surface. To
do this, follow these simple instructions:
1. Make sure the throttle slider is in the “off” position
and then turn on the transmitter.
2. Install the flight battery and plug it into the lead from
the fuselage.
3. Most trim adjustments to the ailerons can be made
with the aileron trim levers on the transmitter. Make
sure the gimbal (stick) is at neutral prior to making
any trim changes.
4. If trimming the ailerons with the trim levers is not
sufficient, and the ailerons need to be trimmed
mechanically, you’ll need to do the following things:
a. With the radio system on, return the trim levers and
gimbal to their neutral positions.
b. Locate the small thumbscrew on each aileron
(bottom of the control surface).
c. Loosen the thumbscrew until the pushrod is free
from the control horn, and move the aileron control
surface until it is back to neutral.
d. Hold the aileron at neutral with one hand while
retightening the thumbscrew on the control horn so
that the control surface will then be held at neutral
when the trim levers and gimbal are in the neutral
position.

ATTENTION : Toujours vérifier que la zone de rotation de l’hélice est libre au cas où le moteur se mettrait en route accidentellement pendant
le réglage des ailerons.
Les ailerons sont au neutre quand ils sont parfaitement alignés avec la surface de l’aile. Pour les régler si nécessaire, appliquer la procédure suivante :
1. Vérifier que la commande des gaz est sur Off avant de mettre l’émetteur sous tension.
2. Installer la batterie de propulsion et la connecter à la prise dans le fuselage.
3. Le manche de commande étant au neutre, essayer de régler la position des ailerons à l’aide du levier de trim de l’émetteur.
4. S’il n’est pas possible de mettre les ailerons au neutre à l’aide du levier de trim, procéder comme indiqué ci-dessous :
a. Avec l’émetteur sous tension, mettre les leviers au neutre.
b. Repérer la petite molette sur chaque aileron (placée sous la gouverne).
c. Desserrer la molette jusqu’à ce que la commande soit libre et bouger la gouverne pour la mettre au neutre.
d. Maintenir la gouverne au neutre et resserrer la molette. Vérifier de nouveau que la gouverne est au neutre avec l’émetteur sous tension et les leviers
au neutre.
