Net Segment: PPTP Client network segment used only in router to router connections
and is set as the Remote Network Range (i.e. 192.168.1.0)
Mask: PPTP Client Subnet Mask used only in router to router connections and is the
Subnet of the Remote Network (i.e. 255.255.255.0)
Remark: Displays when the Client connection is used (optional)
5.7.2.1 PPTP Client
PPTP Client supports the configuration of a connection between the XBR-2300 and
another Router offering a VPN Server connection.
Example: A home office requires secure access to the head office. Two Routers can be
configured to provide a secure link.

Enable PPTP Client: Enables the VPN Client

PPTP Server Address: Address of the remote device providing PPTP VPN service

User Name: PPTP user name

Password: PPTP password

Encryption: Enables or Disables Encryption between the Client and VPN Server
when authenticating.
