LISTENING TO A COMPACT DISC
1 Set the FUNCTION switch to CD.
2 Press PUSH OPEN to open the disc compartment.
3 Piace a disc in the center with the iabei side up
and cióse the disc compartment.

4 Press the ►/!! PLAY/PAUSE button to start CD
play.

Basic operation
Press the following buttons.
To stop ■ STOP button
To pause ►/IIPLAY/PAUSE button
To resume play, press the button again.
After listening
Set the FUNCTION switch to TAPE/POWERÓSTANDBY.
• Do not place more than one disc in the disc compartment at the
same time.
• Do not try to open the disc compartment during play.
Searching for the start of a track -> □
To restart the track in play, press the ¡◄◄SKIP/SEARCH button.
Each press of the button skips back one more track.
To skip to the next track, press the PMSKIP/SEARCH button.
Each press of the button skips forward one more track.
Locating a desired passage □
To search backward on the disc, hold down the ¡◄◄SKIP/
SEARCH button until the start of the desired passage, then
release.
To search forward on the disc, hold down the PM SKIP/
SEARCH button until the start of the desired passage, then
release.
Repeat play -> □
Press the REPEAT button in sequence to select the desired play
mode.

When the track finishes play, it is played again from the
start.
ALL
When the last track on the disc finishes play, the entire
disc is played again from the first track.
— No repeat play (canceled)
c=: indicator disappears in the display. The repeat play is
canceled.
