TO REMOVE AND REPLACE THE SHUTTLE
The shuttle can be removed for cleaning in the follow
ing manner.
1. Tilt machine back.
2. Turn hand wheel until needle bar is at its highest
point.
3. Remove bobbin case. Push shuttle race gate latches
A out toward left and right.
4. Remove shuttle race gate B and then shuttle body
C. Clean and oil shuttle area.
To replace the shuttle, fit it in the reverse order

Remove two screws from top cover and lift cover from
machine.
Apply a drop of oil to each place indicated.
TO OIL THE MACHINE
Lubricating Top of Machine
Loosen screw on face plate and remove face plate.
Apply one drop of oil to all points indicated.
