For open zig-zag stitching, choose any stitch

length from 6 to 20, depending on how open

you wish the stitching to be. It you wish a

closely spaced zig-zag stitch:

1. Move stitch length selector to 20.

2. Run the machine at slow speed and gradu

ally tighten thumb nut by turning it clockwise,
until stitches are closely spaced and form
a smooth surface.

NOTE: For best results in producing a smooth,
satiny

surface,

use

the

special-purpose

foot

furnished with your accessories.
