TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
CAUSE / REMEDY (SEE INDEX)
WILL NOT START
Fid Tank with Gasoline. Check Fuel Line and Carburetor
(clean If necessary). Replace Fuel Filter Use Fresh Fuel
Recharge or replace Battery
Check Wiring
Replace Spark Plug(s) and adjust gap
Drain and replace oil for proper temperature
WILL NOT TURN OVER
Push Clutch/Brake Pedal into brake position
Charge or replace Battery
Move Attachment ClutchSwitchto "DISENGAGED"position
Replace Ignition Switch
Replace Interlock Switch (es)
Replace Solenoid or Starter
Replace Fuse
Check all Wire Connections and "Ground'' Points
Reattach Tiller Attachment Wire Loop
ENGINE CLICKS BUT WON’T START
Clean Battery Terminals
Replace Starter or Solenoid
Charge or Replace Battery

NOTE This tractor is equipped with an operator presence
sensing system. Any attempt by the operator to leave the
seat
with the engine running and the attachment dutch engaged
win shut down the engine.
