The Curved A-B Guidance Mode
The Curve AB guidance mode works similar to Straight-Line mode except it provides vehicle guidance along curved
lines, based on a curved reference guideline. The first step is to establish the reference guideline. This reference
guideline is used to calculate all other parallel guidelines. See “Marking Point A” on page 3-55 and “Marking Point
B” on page 3-56 for more detail on how to establish a reference guideline.

To mark the initial point A, begin driving along the first swath path Figure 3-63. It is recommended that the
reference guideline be established along the longest side of the field, if possible, because the curved guide-
lines do not extend beyond the A and B points Figure 3-64. This can leave areas of the field where guidance
information is not available. While the vehicle is driving along the initial swath, the lightbar displays A>. As the vehicle passes over the desired A location, press the Enter button or use the touch screen to establish
the guideline point A.
