Enable Telnet/SSH: If Serial Console
management is enabled, checking
Enable Telnet/SSH allows a user to open
a Telnet and/or SSH session. Drop down
the list to select the type of
login allowed.
Enable Virtual Media: Checking Enable
Virtual Media allows a user to utilize
the SV1108IPEXT/POW’s Virtual Media
capabilities. Drop down the list to select
whether the user has Read/Write, or
Read Only permission.
The Reset button clears all the information shown in the right panel. When you have
made all your changes, click Apply.
Console Management
The Console Management page consists of two sub-pages – Serial Console and OOBC
– that are used to set up the operating parameters for the SV1108IPEXT/POW’s RS-232
(serial) port. An explanation of the parameters and how to set them are given in the
sections that follow.
NOTE: Only one of these functions can be active at a time. Selecting one automatically
disables the other.
