Downflow to Horizontal Conversion
The unit is shipped ready for downflow duct connections. If
horizontal ducts are required, the unit must be converted
according to the directions in the conversion kit for both
the supply and return ducts.
Condensate Drain
The method for disposing of condensate varies according
to local codes. Consult your local code or authority having
jurisdiction.
Condensate is drained from the unit through one of two
3/4” (19mm) PVC female threaded fittings located on
each side of the unit (Figure 8). One inside the bottom of
the filter access area and one at the bottom of the control
panel area. Both are accessible through the base rail
using a straight length of 3/4” pipe equipped with a 3/4”
threaded male fitting.
When connecting rigid drain line,
hold any fittings with a wrench to prevent twisting.
Do
not overtighten!

• Failure to follow safety warnings exactly

• Installation and service must be performed
by a qualified installer, service agency or
the gas supplier.
• Do not store or use gasoline or other
flammable vapors and liquids in the
vicinity of this or any other appliance.
WHat to Do IF You SMEll GaS
• Do not try to light any appliance.
• Do not touch any electrical switch; do not
use any phone in your building.
• Leave the building immediately.
• Immediately call your gas supplier from
a neighbor’s phone. Follow the gas
supplier’s instructions.
• If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call
the fire department.

• Ne toucher à aucun interrupteur électrique;
n’utiliser aucun téléphone dans le bâtiment.
• Évacuer l’immeuble immédiatement.
• Appeler immédiatement le fournisseur de gaz en
employant le téléphone d’un voisin. Respecter à
la lettre les instructions du fournisseur de gaz.
• Si personne ne répond, appeler le service des
incendies.
