Update System Firmware
Use this feature to update the
firmware with the latest version.
Download the firmware folder named
“dvrupgrade” and save the folder in a
USB flash drive. Insert the USB flash
drive into a USB port of the DVR and
click Firmware upgrade to update the
firmware.
A message appears, click Yes to
confirm the operation.
Warning:
Do not turn off the power or
unplug from the power supply
while updating.
Note:
After the updating firmware process is complete, it is highly recommended to restore the default settings (see
“Load Default Settings” on page 66 ) and then reboot the system.
Settings
Use this feature to save the current
DVR settings, import the configured
settings stored in the USB flash drive,
or load the system default settings.
Note:
• Before saving/importing the
settings, be sure to plug a USB
device into the USB port of
the DVR.
• The settings file is less than
50KB.
In Export settings, click Export to save
the current DVR settings on a USB
storage.
In Import settings, click Import to import the DVR settings
When data exporting/importing is complete, click OK to close the current screen.
Note:
Do not remove the USB device while file transferring is in progress.
Click Exit to close the current screen.
