OTHER RECORDING

POSSIBILITIES

You have a choice of several recording modes. You can se­

lect them by pressing button iJB.EC,.W.QD,Ei;i (remote con­

trol). To return to the normal recording mode, switch off

the function with button i;i.STAN,DB„Y.i,.i or press button

MBEC.MOPEj j one or more times until the display shows

'STOP'.

Audio dubbing

This function enables you to replace (dub) the sound track

of a previously rnade recording with another sound record­

ing (socket :.i. AUDl.Q.JNJ.i).

Only the normal (linear) sound track is changed. The stereo
sound track and the video image remain unchanged.

Press button yPLAYj.ito locate the position at which the

audio dubbing is to start.

O Press button LLSt.QPj.i. The video recorder is now in the

'STOP' position.

O Press button i.;REC,MdbE;; (remote control). The dis­

play on the video recorder will show:

The video recorder will start to record the sound input from

the audio source, replacing the normal sound track. Audio

output is controlled automatically.
If you want to listen to the sound recording, select the

'mono' sound track.

Note: You can mix the original Hi-Fi sound with the sound

from an external audio source by connecting a mixing panel
to the video recorder. The sound cannot be heard during

recording.

Synchronous Editing (Synchro-Edit)

You can edit synchronously with a connection cable be­

tween an appropriately equipped camcorder and the video

recorder. For example, cable SBC1085 + SBC5512 for Vari­
ant 1. Both appliances are started at the right time with the

help of a synchronized pulse and the adjustable pre-roll
time.

Two different operating and cabling variations are possi­

ble. Connect both appliances while they are switched off.
