How do 1 record from a satellite tuner
You can also programme recordings from an external sat­
ellite tuner.

Connect the tuner to the socket i
sure that the tuner is switched on and that the correct
SAT channel has been selected.
O Use one of the three available programming methods to
programme a TIMER. Use programme number 'E 2' in
the programming procedure for this external recording
source.
Note:* If you use 'VIDEOplus+ programming' for such an
'external' satellite TV programme, the video recorder auto­
matically selects 'E2'.
The error message 'VP UNKNOWN' can be ignored.
How can I check or correct a TIMER block?
O
Press button k SXIMET r ,jfCR„0Jii:J on the remote con­
trol.
O Use button liiS or -iniito select the TIMER block that you
wish to check or correct.
O Now press button iiiJJJMEfTJZiPlRj® several times.
The recording date, the programme number, the start
time and the end time will be displayed one after an­
other on the video recorder.
You can change alj. data with button lis or kzs or with
the digit buttons .
You can select between daily/weekly/date programming
with button ilLSELK?U..i, during step 'DATE'.

Finally, press button S;JjiMER,..VCEAJS^^ If you
have made any corrections, the data is now up to date.
Notes: * By following the above instructions, you can not
only check any programmed TIMER block but also pro­
gramme a new block.
To do this, select a free TIMER block. Enter the data as out­
lined in step

■ Durjng.the^programme number' step, you
can also use button ii;LSELECX,Lii to programme the record­
ing mode 'SIMULCAST' or 'AUDIO ONLY'.
* Daily programming can only be used for recordings to be
made Mondays to Fridays inclusive.
* Daily/weekly programming can only be used up to one
week in advance.
How can I cancel a TIMER block?
O
Press button !mJiMER_VCFL®Jilon the remote con­
trol.
O Use button Sx or i~ i to select the TIMER block that you
want to cancel.
O
Press button i.CLEAEi and the TIMER block is can­
celled. The display on the video recorder will show, e.g.:
