SCALLOP STITCH
PROCEDURE
1. With right sides of fabric together, sew
near the folded edge with scallop stitch.
2.
Trim allowance to 1/8". or less. Notch
curves if necessary. Cut down into points.
3. Turn to right side and push scallops out
evenly. If they do not seem even, be sure
curves are notched similarly. Fig. 2.
4. Press flat.
