The measuring unit is equipped
with a serial interface (RS232C).
Using this interface, the measured
and stored values can be transfer-
red to a serial printer or a PC for
documentation purposes or further
processing.
A 9-pin Micro-T connector (see figs.
19 and 20) is mounted on the
measuring unit for transfer
purposes.
For details on pin assignment at
the PC or the printer please refer to
the respective manuals.
12 Interface Description
The serial asynchronous transfer of
characters is specified in the
measuring unit and is performed
according to the following
character format
8 data bits
1 parity bit (parity off)
1 stop bit
The data is output as an ASCII
character string. The transfer rate
is permanently set to 9600 baud.
