Calibrate the unit and place it on
the sample position to be
measured.
The markings on the side of the
unit show the position on the
measuring spot (fig. 2).
Switch on the measuring unit using
the mode button and select
SAMPLE MODE by pressing mode
several times (fig. 13).
Activate the operate button to start
the measurement.
The comment BUSY appearing in
the display indicates that the
measurement is currently carried
out. The red measurement
indicators on the side also light up
during the measurement operation.
After approx. 3 seconds the
measured values appear in the
display.
Pressing operate again starts the
next measurement.
When measuring is finished, push
the measuring unit back into the
protective holder (black standard)
for storage.
