3-1 SJ-M Series Operations
This section describes the setting and operation of the SJ-M Series.
Setup Overview
A brief overview of the setup procedure for the SJ-M Series is provided below.
1. Selecting an operation mode
Use the operation mode selector switch to change the operation mode.

TEST MODE
SPOT MODE This mode is used to continuously perform static
elimination by installing the static elimination head within
a device.
The valve output of the terminal (2) turns ON/OFF while
the terminals (3) and (6) are shorted out.

Static elimination is turned ON/OFF in the cycle specified
in the "Valve control frequency setting".
GUN MODE This mode is used to frequently turn ON/OFF static
elimination by installing the static elimination head within
an air gun.
TEST MODE This is the output terminal test mode. Alarm signals such
as ion level alarm and condition alarm signals are output
and static elimination stops.
* Switching the operating mode will reboot the SJ-M Series.

■ Procedure for changing settings
The procedure for changing settings for the SJ-M Series is as follows.

Check that the unit is in Run mode.

Hold down and for at least one second to enter
setting item selection in Setup mode.

Press or to select the item to be set.
For details on items, see "Setting items" on page 7.

Press to select detailed Setup mode settings for
adjustment.
