5 Putting into operation

Installation steps
1. Disconnect the power cord from the mains and depressurize all system parts.
2. Put the holder of the adsorption column e on the Inert Loop B-295 and fix it with the adhesive
tape.
3. Attach the adsorption column with the installed sieve bag and the humidity sensor a at the
holder e.
4. Connect the inlet tube d of the adsorption column to “GAS OUT” at the Nano Spray Dryer
Advanced B-90 (see section 4.10; connector e). Use hose clamps to fix the tubing.
5. Connect the adsorption unit outlet tube c from the column outlet at the humidity sensor to the
Inert Loop B-295 inlet. Use hose clamps to fix the tubing.
6. Connect the outlet of the Inert Loop B-295 to the inlet of the Aspirator (see section 5.6.1; gas
inlet a). Use hose clamps to fix the tubing.
7. Connect the gas outlet of the Aspirator to the GAS IN at the Nano Spray Dryer Advanced B-90.
Use hose clamps to fix the tubing.
8. Plug in the Inert Loop B-295 communication cable (see section 5.7; cable a) into the external
electronic box b. Secure the electronic box with double-faced adhesive tape at the housing.
9. Plug the humidity sensor cable into the external electronic box b.
10. Plug the communication cable of the electronic box into the Nano Spray Dryer B-90 (see section
4.10; socket c).
11. Connect cooling water or a recirculating water chiller to the double jacket of the adsorption
column (see section 5.7.2; connectors f) if passive cooling is not sufficient.
12. Connect the inlet filter to the gas inlet of the Aspirator. Use a hose clamp to fix the tubing.
13. Connect the power cord to the mains. The device can now be switched on.
